Andy's Hilltop Retreat

EAGLE VALLEY VACATION RENTAL: 

 

Eagle Valley is, in our opinion, one of the most beautiful valleys in northeast Oregon.  Andy's Hilltop retreat is a single-wide, upgraded and enhanced mobile home, permanently situated on a crest overlooking the valley and the surrounding hills and mountains.  To the east is the town of Richland, Oregon, and farther east are the mountains on the Idaho side of the Snake River.  It is in sight of, and a short distance from, boat launching (4 miles) on the Powder River, which drains into the Snake River, 3 or 4 miles down river from the launch site.  It has access to great fishing, hunting, four-wheeling, hiking and sight seeing.  Also, the Hells Canyon Recreation area is a short drive away. A must see to any visitor is Hells Canyon, the deepest gorge in North America.

 

It is a perfect vacation home for families, fisherman, hunters, and in the wintertime, snowmobilers.  It is very private, with a large deck, partly shaded and partly open to the sun.  There is patio furniture and equipment to barbecue.  Steps lead down to a lower deck (with hot tub) and a large yard.  The yard is fully fenced, and dogs are allowed, but cats are not.  

 

The home sleeps 6 in three separate bedrooms:  one double bed, one queen bed, and one king bed. There is a hide-a-bed in the living room for extra guests, and there are two bathrooms.  One is a full bath and the other is a half-bath. There is no land line to make phone calls, so please bring your cell phones.  There is Wi-Fi, television (including Netflix & Sling TV), DVD player & stereo, so bring your favorite music and movies.  For your information, the grocery store in the town of Richland rents DVD's. 

 

The home is fully furnished and equipped.  Just bring your suitcase and your groceries.  It is a beautiful, quiet retreat…a place to rejuvenate your soul. 

 

Directions:  Follow Highway 86 and take the first left just past Milepost 38 (Whitnah Lane).  Stay on Whitnah Lane and you will go down an 'S' curve until you reach a pond on the right.  At that point there will be a driveway to the left with  a white vertical post marked with 35697.  Come up the drive - you have arrived!

 

Booking Information:  $100.00 per night for two people; $10.00 for each additional person (plus 8.8% room tax), with a two-night minimum.  Checks or PayPal.  We require a 72-hour notice for refund of rent. 

 

No smoking allowed inside the house.  $300.00 fine if violated.
